The Telangana Southern Power Distribution Company Limited ( TSPDCL ) has been selected for a national award under the category "DISCOM - Promotion /facilitation" by the Ministry of New and Renewable Energy for promoting solar power generation.TSPDCL chairman and managing director G Raghuma Reddy
in a press release said that the state government had been giving top priority to solar energy for the past two years. He said power purchase agreements and feasibility reports for solar units have been issued for 3,433 .
