PUNE: Six months after being legally separated from Symantec, VeritasBSE -1.96 % is focusing on re-establishing its presence - and brand - in the information management space. Symantec had acquired Veritas in 2005 and recently sold the company to private equity firm The Carlyle Group.
Balaji Rao, sales lead India, Veritas, told ET that the company sells almost exclusively through channel partners in India and it is about mid-way through its new channel strategy.
