Telcos have backed the concept of net neutrality, but said it should be applied not just to them but to all those who offer similar communication services, while Save the Internet wanted the concept of free Web to be a part of the licence conditions of mobile operators.While telcos wanted some amount of traffic management to be allowed, backers of net neutrality strongly opposed this, saying they go against the principles of a free Internet and will lead to discrimination.
